Installation of new friction welding production technology in Bardejov

Finally, after long months of waiting for delivery (the delivery date from the order was more than 14 months), the installation and commissioning, including training, of the new FWT 100T 046 friction welding machine took place in December.
In January, the final adjustments and software fine-tuning of parameters will take place before being put into series production.
This is a specific complex machine that offers us new technological possibilities in the field of welding.
This FWT 100T 046 machine is capable of friction welding workpieces up to 100 mm in diameter and up to 2,000 mm in length.
We see the advantages of this technology indisputably in the quality and speed of welding.
Not to mention that this process is clean in terms of order in the workplace compared to classic welding.
The influence of the operator on the occurrence of failure is almost zero, which is another huge advantage compared to classic welding.

It is true that on the other hand the total procurement costs were high (approx. 1.2 million euros).

Many machine manufacturers require this welding technology and it was impossible to start new projects with them without this technology.
